The New Jersey native and former Scarlet Knights quarterback is off to a sensational start for FCS program Towson and earned national honors this past week after leading the Tigers to a 45-35 road upset of No. 10-ranked Villanova.
Flacco was named CAA co-offensive player of the week and the honorable mention CFPA FCS national player of the week after going 27-of-37 for 320 yards, three touchdowns and an interception in the win.
