An Academy bus carrying a portion of the Rutgers football travel party on the way to Penn State made an emergency road-side stop Friday afternoon after a tire caught fire.
A Rutgers official confirmed to NJ Advance Media there were no injuries to anyone associated with the school.
Pahomepage.com first reported the incident with video. The report stated that a Pennsylvania state trooper suffered minor injures on the scene while trying to put out the fire when a tire exploded, according to the bus driver.

Rutgers likes to shorten games, but Penn State is all about making big plays on the ground and in the air: Can Chris Ash's group continue to be opportunistic?
