Despite a surplus of sunshine, June and July are long dark months for college football junkies like me. I search all summer for a score but have little to look at besides football—the lace-less round ones.
I find myself channel surfing for hash (marks) and find nothing but the Home Shopping Network. It’s line of scrimmage limbo. Yet, this season, former Scarlet Knights have made for some super summer nights.
Still, few people I know share my enthusiasm.
As a Rutgers fan living in the heart of Syracuse country—thousands of football fields from Piscataway, NJ—it’s never a bright red day.
