One of Rutgers' most highly regarded assistants during the Kyle Flood era is headed to Temple.
Jim Panagos, who developed a reputation as the top recruiter at Rutgers during stint as defensive line coach from 2012-15, will be hired as the Owls' defensive line coach by new coach Geoff Collins, according to a Philly.com report.
Panagos is the second assistant from Rutgers' 2015 staff to land an on-field coaching job since Flood was fired and new coach Chris Ash cleaned house late in 2015 (in January 2016, Boston College hired Anthony Campanile as its defensive backs coach).
