As Temple coach Matt Rhule explains it, his only allegiance is to his school.
"I like anyone that helps me and helps me get Temple's message out there," Rhule said.
But as Rhule has sought ways to help his program, he has found an unlikely ally in Rutgers coach Chris Ash.
Ash invited Rhule to be one of the co-headliners, along with Ohio State's Urban Meyer, at last Wednesday's Tri-State Showcase recruiting camp at Fairleigh Dickinson. It was the second time Ash and Rhule have teamed up, as Ash was one of the featured speakers at Temple's coaching clinic in April.
