If Rutgers football had its own yearbook, Julian Pinnix-Odrick probably would have left his leadership skills to Sebastian Joseph in the senior will.
Pinnix-Odrick took Joseph under his wing this past season, planning ahead for the changing of the guard that leaves only one returning starter on the defensive line.
"Sebastian is a passionate guy," said Pinnix-Odrick, whose exit coincided with that of fellow redshirt seniors Darius Hamilton and Quanzell Lambert, "and what you see from him is what you get. That's as real as it gets."
When Rutgers resumes team activities, Joseph will have an opportunity to stake an early claim at team captain because "it's my time to step up.
