Sam Howson feels well prepared to take on the physical and mental challenges he is certain to face as a college football player.
The 6-4, 280-pound Pope John offensive lineman is ready to take that next step at Rutgers after signing a National Letter of Intent on Wednesday at the Sparta school.
"I went on an official visit this weekend and all the coaches are great coaches and even better people," Howson said. "The chance to represent Rutgers and New Jersey as a Jersey boy was another great thing. I felt comfortable about everything there.
