"Getting an offer from Rutgers really meant a lot to me," Solt told StateOfRutgers.com after getting the good news at one of RU's Junior Days in February. "It means a lot to me because it's a brand new coaching staff full of great coaches. It's exciting to potentially be a part of something so great."
So far, Solt has four offers in hand with Syracuse, Army, and Maryland. While he is high on RU, the Terrapins could be a serious contender for his services as well. Ryan is the son of former Colts and Eagles offensive lineman Ron Solt, who played at Maryland.
