Ryan Lasko entered his freshman season at Rutgers coming out of Jackson Memorial High School. To this point, he is exceeding those expectations.
The Scarlet Knights are coming off a three-game series victory over Northwestern to bring their record to 11-9 this season.
Following the series, Lasko was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this season. This is now the fourth time that a Scarlet Knights has taken home the award. Lasko’s first honor came on March 30. Jordan Sweeney earned the honor most recently on April 7 and Josh Rodriguez was the first on March 16.
