Rutgers wrestling upset by Lock Haven, coach Scott Goodale's alma mater

One year ago, Razohnn Gross earned a reputation as a closer for the Rutgers wrestling team.

It didn't work out that way Friday.

No. 11 Rutgers was upset on the road by Lock Haven, 22-16, when Gross was pinned in the first period of his heavyweight bout by Thomas Haines.

It was Haines' second win of the young season against Gross. They also met last week in the weight class' final of the Black Knight Invitational at Army.

The score was tied entering the final of the 10 bouts after Rutgers won three straight at 174, 184 and 197 pounds to draw even at 16-16.
