Rutgers University Wrestling announced their 2021-22 schedule a few weeks ago and now we have our first date change. Rutgers will now wrestle Rider University at the Rutgers Athletic Center in Piscataway on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022. Originally scheduled for the following day, the change of date shouldn’t have any real impact on the teams involved.
The dual meet is already a high-intensity event between the NJ rivals and this year should feature a couple of ranked matchups. Former Kingsway Regional stud Quinn Kinner has decided to head back to NJ after a stint at Ohio State and Rider is ecstatic to have him, I’m sure.
