The Missouri Athletic Club (MAC) announced the Hermann Trophy Watch Lists for both men’s and women’s college soccer on Thursday. The annual award is given out to the top men’s and women’s college soccer player after each season, as voted on by NCAA Division I coaches. Rutgers women’s soccer standout, junior Amirah Ali, was named to the Watch List, which was determined by members of the United Soccer Coaches Men’s and Women’s NCAA Division I All-America Committees. She becomes the 10th player in program history to be nominated for the prestigious award.
Ali had a strong sophomore campaign on the banks, leading the Big Ten in goals with 10, as well as game-winning goals with 5, and was second in total points with 23.
