For Mike O'Neill, the bar is high for the Rutgers women's soccer team each fall.
"The standard here,'' O'Neill said, "is that we compete for championships every year. To be a top program you have to have consistency in all that you do. It speaks volumes to the players that have been here in the past and the current players. We talk about the culture to compete for championships and again we have that opportunity.''
Indeed, the Scarlet Knights will be looking to reach the women's soccer College Cup for the second time in three years after earning an NCAA Tournament berth on Monday for the sixth consecutive season.
