The Rutgers women's soccer team (3-1-1) has dropped in the rankings to number 23 according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) following a hard loss to Georgetown this past Friday. Rutgers came into that game having moved up to number 12 the week before. The Scarlet Knights lost the match to Georgetown 2-1 after the winning shot made by the Hoyas in the first minute of overtime.
This loss was a tough one for the Scarlet Knights, as they led early in the game, but allowed the Hoyas to tie the game up in the first half.
