The Rutgers women’s soccer team was selected for a ninth consecutive NCAA Tournament on Monday. The Scarlet Knights will take on Southeastern Louisiana in the First Round on Tuesday, April 27 in Buis Creek, North Carolina at 7 p.m. ET at Eakes Athletic Complex. The winner will take on Clemson (12-4-0), who are ranked no. 6 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
Rutgers are ranked no. 22 in that same poll and enter the NCAA’s with a record of 8-3-3. They finished in third place in Big Ten play with a record of 6-2-3. They lost to Wisconsin 2-1 in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals last week.
