The Rutgers women's soccer team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 1-0 victory over visiting Providence on Sunday night.
With the game scoreless midway into the second half, a pair of freshmen made the difference in the game. Allison Lynch placed ball into the box from near midfield and the Providence goalie came off her line to defend it. It bounced off the keeper and fellow rookie Julia Aronov took advantage, knocking the ball into the back of the net for the goal.
