The Rutgers women’s lacrosse team has put together their first winning streak of the 2017 season after last night’s 15-10 victory over Lafayette. It was a tight affair for a good portion of contest, with the score tied at 7 at halftime, and knotted at 8 apiece with 18+ minutes left in the game. However, the offense moved into high gear and Rutgers finished the game on a 6-1 scoring run to win comfortably. They have now won 8 of their last 9 games against the eastern Pennsylvania school.
They were led by senior co-captain Amanda Turturro, who scored 4 goals and had 2 assists on the night.
