Rutgers Women’s Basketball left out of the NCAA Tournament

Today that bubble burst as they were not offers a bid to the NCAA tournament.

Rutgers Women’s Basketball was left out of the Dance and will now wait to see if they are offered a WNIT bid, a pretty good likelihood. WNIT selections come out at 9 pm tonight. On the Banks will update this post if and when Rutgers gets a bid.

Rutgers last made the NCAA Tournament 2014-15. They were the eighth seed and knocked off ninth-seeded Seton Hall, 79-66 before losing to top-seeded UConn, 91-55. In 2016, the team played two games in the WNIT, the tournament that they won in 2014, defeating UTEP, 56-54.
