The Rutgers men’s basketball team won its third consecutive game at the RAC in a six day period, as the Scarlet Knights blew out Fordham on Tuesday night by the score of 75-63. The game was decided in the paint, as Rutgers held a 48-20 scoring advantage with interior points and a +18 edge on the boards. Senior captain Deshawn Freeman led the way with a team high 14 points and 10 rebounds, his third double-double of the season.
After Rutgers was able to jump out to an 18-9 lead, Fordham was able to stay in the game and cut the lead down to 30-28 with less than three minutes left in the first half.
