PISCATAWAY -- Contrary to what you might hear elsewhere, Penn State isn't just the Saquon Barkley Show.
Quarterback Trace McSorley has 28 combined passing and rushing touchdowns. Wide receiver Daesean Hamilton has 606 receiving yards and six touchdowns -- as one of four pass-catchers averaging more than 14 yards per reception. And tight end Mike Gesicki is a possible NFL Draft first-round pick.
Rutgers defense has exceeded expectations -- especially given mounting injuries -- but this is a different challenge.
"Multiple weapons," defensive coordinator Jay Niemann said. "The more big-play people they have on their side of the ball, the harder it is to defend.
