After earning its first win over a Pac-12 foe, its first victory over a Big East opponent and its first upset of a Top 25-ranked team, Monmouth is bidding for more program history Sunday.
Not only are the Hawks seeking their first win over Rutgers in 10 tries, a win would mark the program's first over a Big Ten opponent.
"A lot of players want to go to the big schools,'' said Micah Seaborn, Monmouth's second-leading scorer. "But it's fun being at a school that hasn't done it in a while because it makes it that much more special.
