Rutgers' Tyshon Fogg eager to build off freshman finish: 'I'm lightning out there'

Tyshon Fogg battled injuries during a promising, but limited, freshman season.

That's no longer the case for the out-of-state jewel of Rutgers' 2017 recruiting class.

"I'm good, I'm moving fast, I'm 100 percent. I'm lightning out there," Fogg said with a smile after the Scarlet Knights' second spring practice Thursday.

Fogg, a four-star recruit from Calvert Hall in Maryland, missed six games due to injury last season. He flashed in the other six, including an interception against Morgan State and five tackles, one for a loss, in the season finale against Michigan State.

This will be a big spring for Fogg now that he's fully healthy.
