Saturday, Woodrow Wilson (Camden, N.J.) three-star athlete Travon King announced he'd make his pledge on Aug. 7. The fact that he released his announcement right after his visit to Rutgers, signaled the Scarlet Knights could be his pick.
But things are not quite that simple, the 6-3, 210-pounder says.
"No, it's not that. I had sat down with my parents and we had talked about a date to come up with a commitment. That just happened. I just happened to put it out that day because I don't have any more visits coming up," King told NJ.
