Rutgers football season must be right around the corner.
The 2017 schedule went from no known kickoff times to filling out nearly half the schedule Wednesday when the Big Ten and its television partners made an announcement.
Rutgers will visit Michigan (Oct. 28) and Penn State (Nov. 11) on the road at noon in a departure from the script for years past.
Since Rutgers joined the Big Ten in 2014, the first three games against Penn State and two of the first three against Michigan were played in primetime. Rutgers is 1-5 combined -- beating Michigan at home in 2014 -- in those games.
