With less than three weeks to go before the start of the college hoops season, Rutgers will hold its media day events for both the men's and women's basketball teams today.
While the Rutgers women's basketball players will take the stage for interviews shortly after 9 a.m., coach C. Vivian Stringer will step to the podium at 9:45 a.m. to preview her 21st season on the banks.
Eight players, including four starters, return from a Rutgers women's basketball squad that finished 23-10 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
