The victory means the Scarlet Knights (2-0) will surge into their much-anticipated matchup with St. John's at home on Friday night in the Gavitt Games. Rutgers outscored its season-opening opponents 186-121 on the weekend after beginning the year with a 90-55 romp over Fairleigh Dickinson this past Friday night.
