Three-star Cartersville (Ga.) athlete E.J. Turner committed to Rutgers, while on a visit for the recruit barbecue.
The 6-1, 175-pound rising senior picked the Knights over 16 others offers, including Kansas State, Toledo, Syracuse and West Virginia.
"I picked Rutgers because of the relationship, the coaching staff, the academics and the college life around here," Turner told NJ.com.
An explosive skill athlete, Turner makes plays on both sides of the ball. Yet, he projects best to wide receiver -- where he can play inside, in the slot or along the sideline -- at the Power 5 level of play.
