Say this about Art Sitkowski: the Rutgers freshman quarterback doesn't mince words.
Asked whether he has done enough to remain as Rutgers' starter, Sitkowski didn't even wait for the question to be finished before offering his take.
"No,'' he said Saturday afternoon, hours after getting benched in the second quarter of Rutgers' 42-13 loss to Buffalo.
"I gotta do a lot more,'' Sitkowski added. "I have to play a lot better, I'll tell you that. I owe this coaching staff a lot more. And I owe these players a lot more.''
After a week that saw Rutgers coach Chris Ash publicly waffle over the starting QB decision, Sitkowski got the nod for the fourth straight game to start the season.
