Mike Dare is following Chris Laviano and Hayden Rettig out the door, completing an exodus of the three passers who didn't fit the dual-threat mold for the power spread that Rutgers is employing under offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer.
"I had a sitdown with Coach Mehringer and I really wanted to see what the plans were in the near future," Dare told NJ Advance Media. "We were talking for a while, and we both knew that this offense didn't suit me very well.
