Tuesday, Rutgers' class of 2019 quarterback commit Zamar Wise affirmed that he will play out his high school career at Barringer (Newark, N.J.), on the heels of rumors that he could potentially transfer out.

Some of the speculation had to do with former Barringer head coach Ronly London being relieved of his duties at the school, and landing a position at Westside (Newark, N.J.). And there was also a push by some of N.J.'s parochial and prep schools to persuade Wise to leave.

However, Wise will stay put.

He's always taken pride in staying home as he did for high school at Barringer and now college at Rutgers.
