Earlier this week, Rutgers punter Adam Korsak was named a AP preseason Second Team All-American. This honor is even more impressive given the fact the Big Ten is not playing football this fall as of now, although that may change by Thanksgiving. Regardless, AP voters did not take whether the players were set to play this fall or not, including those who opted out of the season due to concerns with COVID-19.
Last season, Korsak was a Second Team All-Big Ten selection and semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award (nation’s top punter) after averaging 43.
