Saturday, Curtis (Staten Island, N.Y.) athlete Amad Anderson, Jr. revealed his top six via Twitter, which included Rutgers, Maryland, Wisconsin, Temple, N.C. State and Purdue. However, Maryland and Rutgers are perceived as the top two contenders for his services.

The three-star has long been a priority target for Rutgers. For a long time, the Knights were the outright favorite with Anderson attesting over a year ago that there was a 75 percent chance he'd eventually commit to Rutgers.
However, things have gotten a bit more competitive over the past few months with the Terps coming on strong.
