PISCATAWAY -- The blueprint on stopping Rutgers wide receivers is on film for all opponents to see.
Even as seniors, the likes of Andre Patton, Carlton Agudosi, John Tsimis and Vance Matthews are struggling to gain separation on routes against press coverage, which has redirected some of the scrutiny off of starting quarterback Chris Laviano.
"We work on it every day," wide receivers coach Jafar Williams said. "I think one of the issues with us is continuing to improve with our hands, making sure our hands are up and ready, not letting the defender get his hands on us before we're able to release.
