Through three games, Rutgers has shuffled its backup quarterbacks like showcase contestants on The Price Is Right, with Giovanni Rescigno, Tylin Oden and Zach Allen all getting one drive apiece in place of starter Chris Laviano.
It looks like it could be Allen's turn again to be No. 2 against Iowa as he was the first option used with the second-team offense during Tuesday's practice. Laviano took almost all the starter's reps during the portion of practice open to the media.
