Rutgers went to Happy Valley and left with a 64-60 victory, as well as plenty of smiles as the program won back to back regular season games for the first time since joining the Big Ten. They struggled offensively at times, but this team showed maturity and a togetherness in leading most of the way. Defensively they were strong all night and it helped Rutgers win just its second road game out of 40 tries, both against Penn State.
