While fans might be a bit nervous after Saturday’s slow start against Howard, Las Vegas has enough confidence in Rutgers that they opened as favorites against New Mexico.
According to VegasInsider.com, Rutgers is currently a 4 point favorite at home for this coming Saturday’s home game against the Lobos. New Mexico suffered a last minute loss last week to in-state rival New Mexico State, losing 32-31 and dropping to 1-1 on the season.
New Mexico features an option offense and rushing attack that is currently averaging 324.5 yards per game, which is ranked 7th out of 128 FBS teams through two games.
