Softball had its home opener and the Big Ten recognized a few Scarlet Knights for their on field exploits.
it was not an auspicious start to the softball team's home opener against Hofstra. The Pride scored in each of the first five innings, knocked the starter out, and had a 6-2 lead going into the bottom of the fiftth.
