The 2015 season was not one to promote for field hockey. A 7-11 record, winless in the Big Ten. It was not a fun time. But, as they say, time (and talent and effort) heal all wounds.
With a 3-1 road win over Ohio State on Sunday, the second conference win, Rutgers qualified for the Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament beginning on Nov. 3. Following a disappointing loss on Friday (4-3), in which the Knights had a two-goal lead over Michigan State late in the game, it was a great recovery for the squad.
