Wednesday, Rutgers extended an offer to Erasmus Hall (Brooklyn, N.Y.) junior cornerback Kessawn Abraham, one of the most explosive players in New York, and former teammate of starting linebacker Deonte Roberts.
Rutgers is his first Power 5 offer, which he adds to an offer from Stony Brook.
"I feel great about Rutgers," Abraham told NJ.com. "I like the program a lot and the coaching staff."
The 5-9, 170-pounder has been on a tear this off-season, putting forth standout performances at The Opening N.J. Regional and the Future Phenom Showcase.
