Rutgers' offensive line is scheduled to encounter some "freaks" this fall.
The Athletic's Bruce Feldman recently published his annual college football "Freaks List," which ranks 50 players that "generate buzz inside their programs by displaying the type of rare physical abilities that wow even those folks who are used to observing gifted athletes every day."
Nine of the 50 players named - nearly 20 percent - are on the Scarlet Knights' schedule this coming season. Offensive line coach A.J. Blazek's group will see four of them in the trenches, including Feldman's top-ranked player - Michigan defensive lineman Rashan Gary, a Plainfield native and former Scotch Plains-Fanwood and Paramus Catholic star.
