When Jerry Kill was hospitalized in September, Chris Ash revealed he had a contingency plan in place for if and when Rutgers offensive coordinator's epilepsy symptoms became an issue.
It wasn't needed then as Kill returned after missing only a day's work. He didn't miss any ensuing games, either.
But given that Ash prides himself on preparation, he certainly won't be starting from scratch now that Kill is retiring due to his health. The news comes just one day before the first early National Signing Day.
