Rutgers OC Jerry Kill on starting QB: It's going to be a tough decision

PISCATAWAY -- Jerry Kill's first day on the job as Rutgers' offensive coordinator was unlike anything he's ever seen in 32 years of coaching.

He had just two quarterbacks to work with at the end of spring camp: returning starter Giovanni Rescigno and walk-on Troy Anthony.

Two-year graduate transfer Zach Allen was the No. 2 signal caller, but he tore his ACL in April. Allen forgone surgery to return to Rutgers for his final season of eligibility.

Meanwhile, Tylin Olden, once touted the future of Rutgers' football, was dismissed the same month for a violation of team rules.
