PISCATAWAY -- The new-look Rutgers offense officially has a new signal caller.

Kyle Bolin was named the team's starting quarterback Monday, though suspense in the three-way battle dwindled day-by-day during the second and third weeks of training camp. Bolin took the first reps with the first-team offense during practices and was named a team co-captain.

It's been a strange journey for Bolin, who played in 13 games with six starts over three seasons at Louisville but lost his job to 2016 Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson. He was bumped to Louisville's No.
