Rutgers believes its new quarterback of the present can also be its man in the future.
The Scarlet Knights will start true freshman Artur Sitkowski at quarterback in the season opener against Texas State on Sept. 1. The move was widely expected - the Old Bridge native has been the front runner to win the job since spring practice - and now that it is official, it's time to take stock on the big picture ramifications.

The most important one: While there will certainly be growing pains along the way, Rutgers believes Sitkowski will be the star quarterback who can lift the program and lead to success in the Big Ten.
