BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Chris Ash was in no mood on Saturday afternoon to name a starting quarterback for the season finale against Michigan State, but in fairness, he wasn't in much of a mood to talk about, well, anything.
A 41-0 loss to a mediocre Indiana team that included enough mistakes for a full season and a lovely 106-minute lightning delay can have that affect on a football coach. Give him this: He was smart enough to put the blame for this debacle where it belongs.
On his shoulders.
"We're better than this," Ash said.
