Men’s soccer closed out 2015 with a 12-7-2 record and a second round loss in the NCAA Tournament to College Cup participant Akron. And a seven-game win streak at the close of the season was ended with a 3-1 regular season loss to Maryland.
It is a team that was picked to finish fourth in the Big Ten. There is something to prove for a team that is currently ranked No. 25 (NSCAA) in the nation.
The squad opens its season at home this Friday at 8:00 pm against No. 7 Creighton in the second game of a men’s and women’s doubleheader.
