The men finished last week with a record of 2-1. Their two wins comimg against a very scrappy, hard fought NJIT team and a dominating performance against Fairleigh Dickinson. Rutgers lone loss was a ten point defeat to a Michigan State team that has national championship aspirations. All in all, considerating the amount of games forced into such a tight schedule, it was only natural for the team to have tired legs coming into the week. But give them credit, as they were able to hang with one of the best teams in the country, avoid a letdown against NJIT and get the win on a snowy Saturday night by steam rolling FDU.
