Rutgers linebacker Trevor Morris on verge of moving up in record books against Michigan State

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Regardless of how he performs in Rutgers' season finale Saturday at Michigan State, Trevor Morris will walk off the field as one of the most productive linebackers in school history.

With 101 tackles this season, the 6-foot-1, 228-pounder out of King of Prussia, Pa., already stands as one of only three players in Rutgers history with three seasons of 100-or-more tackles.

Current Detroit Lions linebacker Steve Longa accomplished the feat from 2013 through '15 and Tyronne Stowe topped the century mark in tackles in all four seasons in the mid-1980s en route to becoming the program's all-time tackles leader with 533 for his career.
