Another New Jersey wrestling standout is staying home as nationally ranked #3 at 220lbs by FloWrestling, PJ Casale of Delbarton, has announced his commitment to the Scarlet Knight Wrestling program.
Casale is a 2020 NJ State Champion and a two-time placer. This past spring, due to the NJ State Championships being pushed back, he decided to forego his opportunity to repeat as a state champion to instead pursue a spot on the 16u National Team and represent America at the Cadet World Championships. He fell just shy of qualifying for world’s, finishing in second place, but did qualify for the Cadet Pan-Am Championships held in Mexico, where he captured “double gold” winning both the freestyle and Greco-Roman competitions.
