Rutgers Lacrosse: Men & Women Prep for B1G Openers

Both squads have topped last year's win totals. It's crunch time as conference play opens up this weekend.

When you fall out of the rankings, it's tough to get back in. Rutgers Men's Lacrosse had been as high as No. 16, but with back-to-back losses to then-No. 18 Stony Brook and unranked Princeton, the Knights are receiving votes but aren't in the Top 20. Currently 7-2, Rutgers begins its 2016 Big Ten season Saturday night at home against No. 9 Johns Hopkins.

Rutgers has already surpassed last season's win total (5-10, 1-4 B1G) and is coming off of a 15-11 victory over Delaware.
